Akmeisty is a curated collection of jewellery inspired by woman in her everyday adventures. The collection is created to celebrate the every-day without waiting for a special-day. Same as all things heart touching are imperfect, as if touched with time and melancholy, they are serving as a reminder that ‘true beauty’ is true and doesn’t necessarily have a form or a rule.. “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. Therefore every bespoke piece of jewellery casted is, alike ‘true beauty’, imperfect, unfiltered, non-polished and, as if an artefact of a modern era, guiding the one who wears it to feel rooted and connect to a powerful energy source from our ancestors..

Akmeisty is a craft space of a self-reliant woman who is truly passionate about beauty and who deeply believes that life, with all its tragedies and joys, above all, is a form of art. The Akmeisty works are showcasing variety of distortions and manipulations of forms, bringing order and normality out of a chaos of curvatures, finding basic truth within distressed and time weathered pieces. Investigation and intuition are the main tools of creative process and, in this way, they are being conveyed for a wearer to rase up to be more sensitive and self-caring oneself, stipulating to listen to inner voice and follow heart callings.. This project is fully funded by own savings and is overseen by a single person, starting from design creation, production, packaging, photography, web site support, shipping and much more! The project has started as a place of personal escape from unhealthy and stressful routine, when working as an architect in London city. There was no other way for me than making a U-turn with nothing else but a clear vision and strong desire to build a true community, grow deeper connection with people, and run towards yourself where you can let your inner light glow. I am an architect, I am a woman and I am a jewellery maker who finds it so rewarding because there is no right or wrong, as it is made in tune with the inner and outer worlds, passion, deep appreciation and, first of all, love.
